The BlackBerry 7290 follows the standard BlackBerry form factor-- a large 240 x 160 color screen placed above a QWERTY thumbpad. Sisi kanan ponsel ini menyediakan berbagai tombol shortcut yang langsung bisa mengarah ke kamera, zoom atau volume dan video. Untuk menggunakan kameranya, user tetap harus membuka penutup kamera yang hampir mirip dengan Sony Ericsson K810i. LG menghadirkan layar InteractPad Unik berukuran 1.5" dengan resolusi 40 x 176 pixel pada Seri KF600 Venus miliknya, layar ini akan secara dinamis berubah tergantung pada aplikasi yang sedang dijalankan oleh ponsel. Ketika LG Venus sedang memutar MP3 layar interactPad ini hanya menghadirkan fungsi mp3, demikian pula ketika user mengaktifkan kamera maka yang tampil hanyalah fungsi kamera.

Dari beberapa hape dalam lini KF, sistem navigasi LG KF600 memang yang kelihatan paling ciamik. Itu kalau melihat sistem yang bakal ditawarkan di seri ini. Dengan model UI seperti ini, maka kita bakal disodorkan bentuk navigasi dan bentuk tombol-tombol yang berbeda setiap fiturnya. Saat kita menggunakan fitur musik misalnya. Di bagian bawah layar hape ini bakal menampilkan tombol-tombol navigasi musik. Ketika buat main game, maka yang muncul adalah tombol arah dan tombol tembak menembak. Uniknya lagi, katanya bentuk tombol ini bisa kita atur semau kita.

Untuk phonebook, ponsel setebal 1.41cm ini menyediakan 1000 entry yang masing-masing bisa menyimpan detil mulai dari nama, nomor ponsel, nomor rumah, nama perusahaan, email, nomor kantor, nomor fax, tanggal ulang tahun, foto dan video untuk setiap contact.

Sedangkan untuk messaging, ponsel ini bisa menyimpan 500 SMS dan 100 MMS. Memory Externalnya bisa di pilih hingga 4GB. Untuk call History, ponsel ini menyimpan 50 dialed, 50 received dan 50 missed calls.

LG KF600 hadir dengan aplikasi seperti Organizer, Alarm Clock, Calculator, Clock, To-do-list, dan Voice Memo. Fitur Yahoo Go sudah aktif di ponsel ini tanpa batas. User juga bisa menggunakan fitur document viewer untuk Microsoft Office seperti file Word, Excel, Powerpoint dan Adobe PDF.

Memory yang disediakan ialah internal memory sebesar 64 MB dan slot untuk memory eksternal yang bisa diperbesar hingga 4GB. Untuk connectivity ponsel ini menyediakan Bluetooth dan koneksi USB.

Untuk internet, kehadiran EDGE cukup banyak membantu mempercepat browsing. Selain EDGE class 10, GPRS yang disediakan juga sudah berada pada class 10 connection. Untuk browsing, User bisa mengakses langsung ke WWW dengan memilih antara tampilan dengan WAP 2.0 atau xHTML browser.

Kamera beresolusi 3MP yang tersemat dibalik layar dengan autofokus, mampu menangkap gambar yang sedang bergerak baik secara vertical maupun horizontal. Fungsi Interact Pad (Layar navigasi Touch screen KF600) akan menampilkan hanya fungsi kamera saat user mengaktifkan fitur kamera, dan sangat mudah untuk digunakan. User bisa memilih untuk Zoom target mereka hingga 4x digital zoom, dan memilih dimana mereka akan menyimpan hasil jepretan mereka apakah di phone album atau langsung mengirimnya melalui MMS.

Selain autofokus, ponsel ini juga mengaktifkan fitur Night Mode, Multi Shot, Self timer, anti reduksi, pengaturan keterangan, White Balance dan LED Flash. Kemampuan video recordingnya termasuk dalam kategori yang cukup baik. Untuk Video, User bisa memilih apakah akan merekan recordingnya dalam format MP4 atau 3GP dalam format 176 x 140 pixels; atau bahkan pada resolusi VGA yakni 320 x 240 pixels.

Looks like Acer’s smartphone strategy at Mobile World Congress will involve at least two handsets. The DX650 would be a unique dual-sided phone with a dedicated number pad and small screen on the back to make calls easier. It will sport a 2.8-inch touchscreen and Windows Mobile 6.1 providing full app support on the phone’s front. The DX650 should also have GPS and a camera. 3G over HSPA and Wi-Fi are assumed.

The X960 looks like a more conventional 2.8-inch touchscreen phone and is known to have a fast 533MHz ARM processor and a front-facing camera for video calls to complement a back 3.2-megapixel shooter. It also runs Windows Mobile and carries HSPA-based 3G, GPS and Wi-Fi.

- Samsung OmniaHD to feature 720P HD-video capture

According to Samsung Central, Samsung's newly announced OmniaHD will be the world’s first cellphone to record 720p video. It will have a 3.7-inch AMOLED screen, which should be decent for the HD content it will record.

That’s really about all we know if you take their word for it. It likely also has GPS, Wi-Fi, plenty of built-in storage and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Those are basic features, after all. No word on what OS it will run, but we would like to get one of these in hand.

- Sony Ericsson unveils Idou

Sony Ericsson unveiled Idou today, it’s new high-end device, which runs a Symbian operating system. Idou features a 12.1 Megapixel camera, xenon flash and a large 16:9 touch-screen. Looks like a real winner.

As of now the Idou has no model name, but will be available in selected markets from the second half of 2009. The official website just launched.

We’ll know more soon. We think this one looks just awesome.

- Casio Exilim C721 with 5 megapixel camera

Casio is a name more associated with watches and Hello Kitty phones than quality cell phones, but that doesn’t mean they can’t deliever one. This new 5 megapixel shooter from Casio is known as the Exilim C721, keeping the name of Casio’s line of digital cameras.

It features autofocus capability and a high resolution WVGA rotating display that makes it more natural to capture images while using a phone. The image quality and features won’t be as good as a standalone digital camera
, but what are you gonna do?

It could be out anytime over the next few weeks.

- LG GD900 transparent phone

The LG GD900 has just been unveiled, and the transparent keypad phone is a real looker. It’s definitely a first. The phone is just 13mm thick and features a slide out keypad that’s see through, knocking the iPhone dead as far as cool looks. It may be crystal clear, but the LG GD900 keypad will still glow if you are in the dark.

There aren’t many details about what’s going on inside other than HSDPA, but it’s due out Q2 this year. We do know that there’s a second camera on the front for video calls, and we’re guessing it’s also a music phone, with a proper headphone jack and may have Dolby Mobile inside.

- Sprint offers Simply Everything Plan + Mobile Broadband

I don’t talk on my mobile phone all that much. We have a basic plan and thanks to AT&T’s roll over I never run out of minutes. I have been hit with a few bills with significant text messaging overages though. Sprint and the other mobile providers rolled out plans last year for heavy mobile phone users that offer everything for one price.

The catch for those like me is that the plans are expensive. Sprint has announced a new Simply Everything Plan + Mobile Broadband that rolls all the talk, text, and phone Internet access you want in with mobile broadband for your laptop.

Users can choose from a USB 3G broadband modem or a Mobile Broadband card for their laptop. The price for the new plan is $149.99 monthly with a bandwidth cap of 5GB per month on the mobile broadband. That is hardly enough data for heavy users, so it’s not quite as everything as you might hope.

- Pantech Matrix Pro announced

The Pantech Matrix Pro is a dual-sliding smartphone that resembles the Helio Ocean, with a slide-out keypad and a separate, slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

It will be powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 with support for Outlook/Office. Some features include a microSDHC memory card slot that lets you carry up to 32GB of data, 3G connectivity, and a small 2.4″ LCD. AT&T will be carrying the Pantech Matrix Pro within the next few days for $180.

It’s a pretty sleek looking phone, but it might be a little thick for some if you are used to super thin phones.

- Nokia officially announces N86 8MP handset

Most camera phone users can agree that the camera is simply not good on the bulk of the devices out there. Even the class leading iPhone has a bad camera that has poor low light performance and is useless as a real camera.

Nokia has officially announced its latest camera phone at MWC 2009 called the Nokia N86 8MP. As you can gather from the name, the handset has an 8-megapixel camera that uses Carl Zeiss optics with built-in flash. Nokia says the camera performs as well as a normal digital camera.

Other than the camera, the handset features 8GB of internal memory, enough to store 4000 images, and has memory expansion with a microSD card slot. Other features include TV out, geotagging, GPS navigation and an integrated music player. The phone has a built-in kickstand for watching video hands free or playing games. Exact pricing and availability are unknown at this time.

- Windows Mobile 6.5 OS unveiled

It’s been long overdue and at long last Microsoft has redesigned the Windows Mobile interface. No doubt users will like the honeycomb layout and the Zune-like feel. There’s more to like with no-waiting voice mail, cloud-syncing MyPhone online service, and a new app store. Hey, where have I heard this before?

Things are not only meant to be finger friendly, but are designed to be used with one hand. The design on some of the screens has clearly been inspired by Windows Media Center and much of the information can be accessed by simply swiping up/down, left/right.

About time. The real test is everyday use, but it looks promising in many ways. Looks like its up to the app writers now.

- Android G2 : HTC Magic Officially Announced

Vodafone has just pulled the HTC Magic out of their hat in their MWC 2009 press conference. And yes it is much sexier than T-Mobile’s G1. It features a 3.2-inch HVGA screen front and center, HDSPA, GPS, 3.2 megapixel camera (no flash), and a G1-style trackball. Details on pricing and availability will be unveiled for local Vodafone markets soon, but pricing in Spain will be from 99 to 199 Euro, depending on contract.

It will be available first in the UK, Spain, Germany, France and Italy, with more countries to follow later. Oddly, the phone has a proprietary headphone jack, but hey, it ships with a touchscreen keyboard and is running Cupcake.

- Samsung Three Android phones and a Linux handset for 2009

According to Reuters, Samsung will sell “more than three” Android phones by the end of this year, and plans a phone using Linux-based software before 2010.

No word on which countries will get them first, but the company’s head of product strategy Won-Pyo Hong said that the US and Europe would be covered by this year’s end. Linux has had little success in cellphones
so far, but that is changing with the LiMo platform and Google’s using Linux for it’s Android platform.

We just wish there were more details, but it will all unfold soon enough.

- Acer launches Tempo line of new phones

Acer launches the Tempo line of mobile phones. The four new phones include the X960, F900, M900 and DX900. They are all touch-enabled and based on the Windows Mobile OS. The first set of devices will be based on the existing version of Microsoft’s Windows Mobile OS.

The M900 comes with a QWERTY keyboard, a 3.8-inch screen, and a fingerprint scanner. It also has HSDPA (High-Speed Download Packet Access) support, built-in GPS (Global Positioning System), and a 5-megapixel camera. The F900 also comes with a 3.8-inch screen and features a 3.2-megapixel camera, and you also get faster uploads using HSUPA (High-Speed Uplink Packet Access) and support for Wi-Fi. Both phones will start shipping at the end of March or the beginning of April.

The second set of smartphones that will be based on Windows Mobile 6.5, are the X960 and DX900. The X960 will come with pre-installed GPS software, a 2.8″ VGA touch screen, with High speed HSPA connectivity, and a virtual keyboard. It also features direct access to key applications via widget-based home screen, a 3.2MP Auto-focused camera. Not much is known about the DX900, but it will feature a physical Qwerty keyboard and a 3.8″ WVGA touch screen, fingerprint reader, a 5 MP autofocus camera, HSPA, WiFi, BT, Outlook, and Office. It has a standby time 160h / Talk time: 5h.

- LG Arena KM900 touchscreen phone pics and specs

LG’s new Arena KM900 touchscreen phone is finally out of the closet, thanks to the above image and some specs surfacing. It looks a bit like the Samsung Omnia, and features a 5-megapixel camera along with a secondary camera for video calls, built-in GPS, WiFi, and an “innovative S-Class 3D interface.”

Sadly we don’t have complete specs, but the phone will apparently be hitting Europe in March. We should learn more later this month. The pic and the specs above come from a retailer’s sales brochure in the Netherlands.

Yeah it has the iPhoney look. We think it’s a pretty interesting handset.

- Digicel ZTE Coral 200 Solar eco phone

A few days ago we introduced you to Samsung’s Blue Earth, their solar powered touchscreen phone. Well, if you like your mobile phones eco-friendly, here’s another choice.

The ZTE Coral 200 Eco Phone is from Digicel, a Jamaican Mobile Carrier. It’s an entry level candy-bar style phone with a solar panel on the back which charges the phone up when the battery gets low. There aren’t a lot of features, but it does have a color display. It should be available by June of this year.

The idea is that it’s for folks with “limited or no access to the power grid,” which represents some 2 billion people around the world.

- HTC intros new Touch Cruise phone

HTC has a new version of it’s GPS-loving Touch Cruise handset. This time it’s thinner, boasts a more stylish design and it has a new HTC Footprints app for integrating GPS data with your photos and notes. The phone can also be used as an in-car navigation system, with the included cradle.

Some features include: GPS and a-GPS, quad band GSM, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, a microSD slot and a 3.2 megapixel camera, along with a 2.8-inch QVGA screen. It will cost you $500 to $600 in the second quarter.

The most interesting aspect of this one is the HTC Footprints app. It takes geotagging to the next level. You can take notes and audio clips and embed them to that GPS location data. Think of it as creating postcards, which are auto-named by their location. Pretty intriguing.

- Windows Mobile 6.5 on the Compulab Exeda

Remember the Compulab Exeda? It sports a great design and can support multiple operating systems like Android and Windows Mobile, which is a rare treat. We like it more everytime we see it. It’s making news again because it has been seen running Windows Mobile 6.5. You can spot the upcoming OS because of the hexagonal buttons that are easier to use compared to Windows Mobile 6.1.

According to the company, this is an alpha build of the OS, and word is that it takes full advantage of 6.5’s inertial scrolling as well as other touch improvements. So, you get a phone that can run on either OS, that also has an Ethernet port, and both left/right click buttons. What’s not to like?

Pretty sweet. We can’t wait to see what othertricks it might have up it’s sleeve.

- BlackBerry Curve 8900 gets the Colorware treatment

It had to happen. If a device is as popular as the BlackBerry Curve 8900, it will get the Colorware treatment sooner or later. Usually sooner. Just like the iPhone 3G, and your DS. So, if you want to beat your precious gadget upside the face with an ugly stick, the folks at Colorware will gladly help.

It doesn’t have to be ugly of course, you can put together something striking I’m sure. Just be certain it’s what you want before you commit. A solid color will run you $129, but if you want a different top, bottom, frame or sides, it will be higher. You could just love your device for who it is, which is the cheapest option and it will love you back. Maybe.

It will just look like everyone elses and have no identity whatsoever.

- LeapFrog intros “Baby BlackBerry”

This “Baby BlackBerry” is not from RIM, which would explain all that cheap plastic and the cutesy animal theme. It’s a Text and Learn PDA for kids from LeapFrog. Your little ones will have a jump start on the other kids when it comes to texting and churning out emails.

Alright, so it wont let them email everyone on your contact list. The device features a full QWERTY keyboard and a large LCD display. No Wi-Fi, which should keep your rugrat out of trouble. Just be aware that you are grooming your kid to ask for the real deal in just a few short years. And an unlimited data plan. It will be available in August for £19.99.

Some other features are a calendar to learn dates, phonics for the keypad and maybe a game or two.

- General Mobile’s new Android handset

General Mobile is showing off their latest Android handset called the DSTL1. The company is known for it’s dual-SIM handsets, so it’s no surprise that the DSTL1 can take two different SIM cards. It also sports a 3-inch touch screen, 5 megapixel camera, 4GB of storage, WiFi, and a 624MHz Marvell processor.

The picture above is a render, but it’s what they envision the final product looking like. The phone should be released in the third quarter of this year. An Android handset like this one with the dual-SIM feature definitely has us drooling.

Let’s hope this one fares better than the Kogan Agora. It could run into the same problem with the display.

- iSuppli says Blackberry Storm sells at a loss

The Blackberry Storm is by many accounts the single worst smartphone to ever wear the Blackberry logo. Customers who purchased the device have complained that its performance is sub-par and some reports claim Blackberry knew the device was buggy when it launched the Storm.

Research firm iSuppli has taken the Storm apart to find out how much the components and construction of the smartphone cost RIM. The cost for parts and construction is a bit under $203 according to iSuppli. To compare, the firm found that the parts and build bill for the iPhone 3G was under $175.

With a parts and labor bill along of $203, RIM can’t be making money on the handset. Verizon offers the device for $249 before a $50 mail-in rebate and the iSuppli numbers don’t take into account the cost of patent licensing, marketing, and distribution.

- Samsung Propel Pro caught on camera

In a world filled with tech spies, you’re gonna get the occasional obligatory spy shot. This is the latest. Apparently, this is the Samsung Propel Pro and it arrives with some pro-level features. Stuff like Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard, an optical joystick, 3G, and presumably a camera.

That’s about all we know at the moment, but we hear that the QWERTY keyboard is decent. Nothing on a release date or pricing. Looks pretty decent.

- The Kyocera NS01 is the first real “belt” phone

The Kyocera NS01 is not the best and most powerful phone available right now, but what it lacks in power, it makes up for in cutting edge geek fashion. The handset features an integrated belt, so it will hold up your pants while taking a call.

The NS01 features a 2.8 QVGA Screen, a 1.97MP camera, and e-wallet. Hey, at least you won’t lose your phone if it’s attached to your pants. There isn’t a ton of info, but I’m assuming it can detach easily while it is acting as a belt, because otherwise things could get comical real quick. Like if your friend needs to use your phone in an emergency, you would want to be able to quickly detach it. Because one guy on his knees, talking to someone in your crotch area in public doesn’t look good. It also doesn’t look good if you walk around hunched over talking to your own belt buckle as you try to pull it closer to no avail.

Yeah I don’t see many people using this one.

- Sony Ericsson CyberShot S001 8.1MP camera phone

It’s a real shame that those outside of Japan won’t be able to lay their hands the Sony Ericsson CyberShot S001 at retail stores. It’s a real beauty of a camera phone. The Sony Ericsson CyberShot S001 features an 8.1 megapixel autofocus EXMOR CMOS sensor with LED flash, Smile Shutter and Face Recognition technology, Image Stabilization and auto exposure/white balance alongside sensitivity of up to ISO 1600.

Some other features of the CDMA/GSM slider handset include a 3.3″ OLED display with 854 x 480 resolution, Bluetooth connectivity, Integrated GPS, and 1Seg TV tuner. You can get it from KDDI in Japan in our choice of black, gold, green and pink this March.

No word on price yet, but we’re guessing it will be reasonable.

- Sharp SH001 8 megapixel camera phone with gossip feature

Here’s another Japan only phone. The Sharp SH001 from KDDi telecom. The clamshell sports an 8 Megapixel camera and has most of the functions you would expect from an entry level digital camera. It features Sharp’s ‘ProPix’, a proprietary picture conversion engine, auto focus and face recognition.

The phone comes with 740 MB of internal memory which you can expand on with a 2GB Micro SD card. This one is targeted at 20 to 30 year old females. If Sharp doesn’t have their attention with the other specs, the gossip feature surely should win them over. The Gossip feature activates noise canceling so you can be heard even when speaking slowly in crowded and noisy areas.

You’ll also get GPS with Easy Nabi walk, music download service and E-wallet. The SH001 will be available in white, pink and black later this year in Japan for $ 450.

- Casio’s CA001 phone with touch-screen

The Casio CA001 features a generous 3.1″ WVGA touchscreen display, opening up to an alphanumeric keyboard underneath. We’re assuming you can operate the CA001 fully from the touchscreen, but have the option of using the keyboard as well if you like.

It’s also equipped with a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, e-wallet support and video/audio-on-demand, all in a body that measures just 50 x 109 x 17.8mm and weighs 122g. That’s about all the info we have, but it looks interesting. When we hear more, we’ll let you know.

Virgin Mobile USA has confirmed the Helio Ocean 2 release and has seen fit to shower the world with further details like features, price and availability. It’s dual slide design is similar to it’s predecessor, but this time it’s slimmer. Like you couldn’t have guessed that. Gadgets and models are always getting slimmer.

Some specs: 2.6″ TFT display with 240 x 320 resolution, 3G connectivity, GPS with Google Maps, Easy access to Facebook, MySpace, YouTube and Flickr, Stereo Bluetooth connectivity, Media player with background mode playback, 3.5mm headset jack, Opera Mini, Mail for Microsoft Exchange, File Viewer with document editing capabilities, 3D gaming, 2 megapixel camera with location tagging and video recording, microSD memory card slot.

With each purchase you’ll get a 512MB microSD memory card. The Helio Ocean 2 will be available from Virgin Mobile on February 12th for $149 in red.

It’s unclear if Acer’s upcoming DX900 smartphone that is actually a rebranded E-Ten Glofiish DX900, is Acer’s much hyped new smartphone. The company is likely still keeping most of their newly developed items under wraps. But if this is the phone they were talking about, then color us disappointed.

All the innards are unchanged: Dual SIM support, GPS navigation, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, a 3 megapixel camera and a 2.8″ VGA touchscreen display, all powered by Windows Mobile 6.1.

We’re still hoping that this isn’t what they were planning on wowing us with on Feb. 16th in Barcelona.

- AT&T to offer the LG Neon

The LG Neon probably looks familiar, that’s because it’s been released before as the LG KS360. They’re both pretty identical, with a full QWERTY keyboard, 2.4″ touchscreen display and other functions. Your only bonus here is the added AT&T logo on the front.

The LG Neon is targeted at youth whose only communications with others are through texting. No word yet on pricing and availability yet, but we should know soon should you be itching to text with this thing.

Maybe it’s just me, but it looks like a cheap toy. Kids don’t want to text on a cheap looking toy.

- T-Mobile gets green W233 Renew handset

Mobile phones and other electronics devices are the subject of recycling efforts all around the country. The goal is to keep the devices and their batteries out of landfills. Some companies out there recycle the internal components from discarded electronics to build new products or simply for the raw materials.

T-Mobile has the first handset that is actually made from recycled materials itself. The plastic case of the Moto W233 Renew is made from recycled water bottles. The packaging that the phone ships in uses 22% less material than other handsets and all of the packing materials are made from recycled materials as well.

T-Mobile says that the battery the phone uses is good for 9 hours of talk time. T-Mobile is also working with Carbonfund.org to offset all of the carbon that is produces making, distributing, and operating the phone with investments in renewable energy making the Renew the first carbon neutral phone.

- BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 from Verizon

If you’re a fan of Verizon you’ll be happy to know that the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 will be with the carrier soon. It’s the first clamshell BlackBerry, so it looks a little strange, but it’s a good solid phone that’s been available for a few months from other carriers.

We don’t have any word on pricing and availability. We do know that silver will be among the color choices. The release date should be very soon since test units have gone out.

It’s probably RIMs least desirable handset, but even so, should have no problem finding owners

Yesterday we took a look at LG’s somewhat familiar Arena KM900 phone, and now more details are available, though LG is still keeping a few things to themselves.

Looks like this one will feature GSM/UMTS/HSDPA connectivity, a high-resolution 3-inch 800×480 touchscreen display and mobile TV. Apparently the phone measures only 11.5mm thick, just a tad slimmer than the iPhone. Folks in Europe may get it as soon as next month from T-Mobile Germany. Stay tuned for more on this one.

Sony Ericsson kembali meluncurkan produk terbarunya pada bulan Februari 2008 yang lalu.Kehadiran si langsing C902 Cyber-shot dari Sony Ericsson ini sangat dinanti-nanti. Perangkat serba compact ini sangat bergaya dengan cover penutup lensa kamera yang unik. Untuk menggunakan kamera 5MPnya, sliding bagian atas casingnya dan lighting pada ponsel ini akan berubah warna dari Putih ke Biru. Delapan tombol tambahan di sisi kiri dan kanan layar langsung aktif menjadi Touch Key (seperti Touch Screen). Kedelapan tombol itu akan membawamu menggunakan fitur kamera seperti mengaktifkan Flash dan Autofokus.

Sony Ericsson C902 memiliki layar TFT yang relatif kecil, 2" dengan resolusi QVGA dan berkedalaman 262 ribu warna. Ketika layar dalam kondisi off, layar kelihatan seperti berukuran 2.2" (lebih lebar). Hal ini ternyata ada delapan tombol untuk fungsi kamera yang sensitif disekeliling layarnya.

Layar sebenarnya ialah beresolusi 2" dengan ketajaman warna TFT 262ribu warna. Tetapi jika melihatnya dalam keadaan Turn Off, mungkin orang akan mengira layarnya ialah sebesar 2.2 inci karena tombol touch key untuk kamera memang tidak terlihat aktif dan merata dengan layar. Sony Ericsson C902 akan hadir dalam dua warna Swift Black dan Luscious Red. Keduanya mengambil konsep Bar dan didominasi oleh warna hitam. Keseluruh badannya dibuat dari Bahan Metal sedangkan untuk layar memberikan efek Glossy.

Sebagai ponsel yang mengutamakan fitur kamera, Sony Ericsson C902 dikemas dengan sebuah kamera 5 megapiksel dengan autofokus yang memberikan beberapa fitur menarik. Diantara fitur yang ada antara lain: face detection, image and video stabilizer, auto-rotate, macro mode, photoflash LED.

User Interface dalam ponsel ini menunjukkan sedikit perubahan, Menu model Grid 3x4 masih dipertahankan tetapi jika menu sedang dalam keadaan terpilih akan membesar (Zoom), selain itu adanya fungsi untuk memilih theme sendiri dan mengubah model menu Grid ini menjadi model Rotate yang digeser ke samping atau menu Icon yang digeser ke bawah untuk berganti menu.

Panel Ponsel
Keypad pada ponsel ini cukup empuk, tombol call dan end key diletakkan sejajar di sisi kiri dan kanan ponsel berdempet dengan tombol lainnya. Hal ini agak tidak biasa tetapi ternyata cukup nyaman juga setelah terbiasa menggunakannya.

FITUR UTAMA
PhoneBook, Messaging dan Memory
Pemakai dapat memasukkan 2000 daftar kontak dan menambahkan banyak informasi dan melakukan photocall via perangkat ini. Fasilitas Messaging yang disediakan antara lain SMS, MMS, Email, dan Instant Messaging. Memory Internalnya sebanyak 160Mb bisa dikategorikan cukup untuk menyimpan banyak foto, apalagi jika mengisi slot microSDnya dengan memory berkapasitas raksasa.

Internet dan Connectivity
Mengenai dukungan terhadap layanan jaringan, ponsel C902 ini adalah sebuah ponse global yang mendukung quad-band GSM. Ponsel untuk versi Eropa akan mendukungan layanan HSDPA ( Highs Speed Downlink Packet Access, 3.6 Mbps) untuk transfer data berkecepatan tinggi, sedangkan untuk versi Amerika (Sony Ericsson C902a) dan China daratan (Sony Ericsson C902c) layanan HSDPA ini tidak akan ditemui.

Selain kamera, ponsel ini juga potensial untuk berinternet ria. Dengan HSDPA yang dimilikinya, browsing terasa lebih cepat dan mudah, Download file berukuran besar dalam sekejap dan juga melihat isi web secara Full Pages dalam hitungan detik. Gunakan juga Videocall dengan kamera depan bersama dengan teman dan gunakan fitur video stabilizer untuk hasil yang lebih baik.

Kamera
Kameranya sudah dilengkapi dengan berbagai fitur unggulan seperti pada kamera digital cybershot yang dikeluarkan Sony. Fitur Face Detection yang ada beserta kemampuan Autofokus membuat objek wajah yang dipotret menjadi lebih tajam dan berkualitas tinggi.Untuk mengambil gambar di malam hari, dapatkan juga potret yang sempurna dengan adanya Photo Flash LED yang memberikan kecerahan meski pencahayaan disekeliling sedang tidak bagus. Nyalakan juga Fitur BestPic yang akan mengambil foto dengan snapshot 9 x jepret, tinggal memilih yang terbaik dan hapus sisanya.

Meski tidak menggunakan Xenon Flash, tetapi PhotoFlash LED yang baru ini memberikan hasil yang sama baiknya dengan Xenon Flash. Photoflash LED ini 3x lebih baik dibandingkan dengan reguler LED Flash yang biasa.Gunakan Fitur xPick Story untuk menambahkan musik kedalam multimedia slideshow dari gallery photo yang bisa dishare juga dengan sesama teman. Kelebihan lain yang dimiliki Cybershot C902 ialah adanya fungsi auto-rotate yang secara otomatis akan mengikuti gerakan tangan kita. Kita bisa mengambil Foto secara Landscape atau Potrait hanya dengan mengarahkan ponselnya secara vertikal atau tetap horizontal.

Multimedia (Walkman dan Radio)
Paket multimedia yang disertakana dalam ponsel ini antara lain: Media player dengan Mega Bass rqulizer preset, FM radio dengan RDS, TrackID. Bluetooth dengan A2DP yang memungkinkan musik kualitas stereo dapat dinikmati melalui headset tanpa kabel. Disertakan pula sebuah game Need for Speed sebagai sarana penunjang hiburannya.

Sebagai ponsel yang mengunggulkan kemampuan kamera, ponsel ini juga tidak mau ketinggalan menyediakan berbagai paket multimedia seperti media player dengan Mega Bass equalizer seperti ponsel seri Walkman yang dikeluarkan Sony Ericsson. Selain itu, menonton TV dan mendengarkan Radio juga bisa dilakukan melalui ponsel ini.

Dengan Interface yang hampir menyerupai 3D dan di view secara landscape (memegangnya seperti memegang PSP), menyetir didalam game Need For Speed tidak perlu menggerakan tombol karena terdapat teknologi Motion Sensor yang mendeteksi gerakan ponsel. Hanya perlu menggerakannya ke kiri maka sensor akan mengarahkan mobil ke kiri, saat kita ingin membelok ke kanan kita hanya perlu menggerakkan ponselnya ke kanan. Ponsel ini mampu bertahan selama 400 jam atau lebih dari 10 hari demikian pula jika digunakan untuk talk time bisa mencapai 9 jam.

Ponsel Sony Ericsson C902 memiliki internal memori sebesar 160 MB dengan slot kartu memori M2. Ponsel ini memiliki dimensi dengan ketebalan 10,5 mm dan berat sekitar 107. Dan akan tersedia di pasaran sekitar Q2 tahun 2008 dalam dua pilihan warna : Swift Black dan Luscious Red.

Eten glofiish M800 adalah hasil desain yang sangat serasi antara ukuran dan sifat ergonomic. Sistem sliding masih dipakai sebagai upaya untuk meringkas ukuran. Jadi keyboard hanya dibuka ketika dibutuhkan saja. Sementara itu tombol dengan EL backlight di bagian mukanya sudah cukup untuk mengoperasikan segala pengaturan dengan leluasa.

Eten glofiish M800 adalah versi QWERTY keyboarda dari X800. Feature yang ditawarkan sangat mirip satu sama lain, antara lain quad GSM dan tri-band HSDPA, yang dapat mengakomodasi secara global 2G maupun 3G. Processor yang dipergunakan berjalan pada kecepatan 500 MHz. Windows mobile versi 6 terpasang sebagai sistem operasinya. Penggunaan SirfStar III yang dikenal sebagai GPS receiver yang sensitif menambah keperkasaannya. Sebagai PDA phone berlayar lebar tidak ketinggalan fungsi touch screen atau layar sentuh yang sensitive dengan resolusi VGA.

Seperti telah disinggung, Eten glofiish M800 mendukung GSM, GPRS dan HSDPA untuk komunikasi suara dan koneksi data kecepatan tinggi . Sedangkan penggunaan standart IEEE802.11b/g mempermudah pengguna untuk terhubung ke jaringan Wi-Fi apabila masuk dalam suatu hotspot. Untuk anda yang senang bepergian, feature GPS pada M800 ini dapat diandalkan, berkat penggunaan SirfStar III. Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa M800 mumpuni untuk keperluan bisnis maupun untuk dibawa liburan pada akhir pekan.
